Chelsea's Luiz off to Barca?

Cape Town - Barcelona have reportedly reached an agreement with Chelsea's David Luiz over a potential off-season move to the Nou Camp.

The Catalan club have been pursuing a long-term replacement for captain Carles Puyol, who is set to leave Barcelona at the end of the season, and have identified Luiz as the man for the job.

According to several news sources, Luiz has agreed on a five-year contract worth €4.5m (R66 million) per year.

Chelsea signed Luiz, 27, in January 2011 for a fee of £20m in a deal that also saw Nemanja Matic move to Benfica.

Luiz has gone on to make 143 appearances for the Stamford Bridge club.
