Chelsea ban racist supporter

London - Chelsea on Wednesday banned a fan from matches at their Stamford Bridge ground for making a racist gesture during a League Cup win over Manchester United last week.

Gavin Kirkham, a 28-year-old who is not a season-ticket holder or a member of the club, was spotted on camera making a "monkey" gesture.

The ban is pending a police investigation into the incident, Chelsea said.
