Cech out, Khedira in for Blues?

Cape Town - Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is willing to allow Petr Cech to leave Stamford Bridge for the Santiago Bernabeu but only if Sami Khedira agrees to move to the London club in return.

According to the Express, Chelsea are now in pole position in the race to sign Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira.

Real Madrid are actively seeking a replacement for Iker Casillas and are interested in Chelsea's Petr Cech.

Reports in Spain suggest that Carlo Ancelotti will ask Madrid club executives to proceed with an official enquiry for Cech.

Sami Khedira is out of contract in the summer and Real Madrid are wiling to part ways with the German international and World Cup winner in order to bring Cech to Spain.

Cech, now into his eleventh season at Chelsea, has found himself playing back up to Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois this season and is growing increasingly frustrated with life on the bench at the Blues.

The 32-year-old has played 472 games for Chelsea but is unlikely to feature in many more games as Jose Mourinho continues to utilise Courtois in goals.
