Carragher: Harry a goner?

Cape Town - Sky Sports report that ex-Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher suspects Harry Redknapp could have worked his last job as a manager.

Redknapp sent shock waves through the English game by announcing his resignation from English Premiership strugglers. (Read that story HERE!)

"It remains doubtful if we will see him again in the dugout," Carragher wrote on social media.

"He seemed certain for the England job 2/3 years ago so it just shows how precarious football management is."

Les Ferdinand will take over the reigns at QPR on an interim basis.

"But the big surprise for me is that Les Ferdinand will take the reins and not Glenn Hoddle considering his experience, but I wish Sir Les all the best in the fight to keep QPR up!"

Queens Park Rangers have lost 11 games in a row on the road, have scored just 6 goals and conceded 27 in the same time.

Carragher said: "They’ve got to be more difficult to beat. It’s too easy."

Tim Sherwood is currently the leading candidate to take over from Redknapp.
