Can the Saints keep going?

Cape Town - Just like last season, Southampton has made a strong start to their English Premiership campaign.

The question is: Can they keep it up this time?

Ronald Koeman's side is the nearest challenger to Chelsea after nine games and is looking for its sixth win in seven league matches when the Saints visit Hull on Saturday.

Not bad for a team which was ripped apart in the summer, when many of its top players like Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert and Luke Shaw left.

Koeman was brought in to replace Mauricio Pochettino, who left to manage Tottenham Hostpur, and the former Feyenoord mentor has done a brilliant job so far.

Southampton have been in tremendous form as Graziano Pelle and Dusan Tadic have proven top quality acqusitions.

Hull City host the high-flying Southampton at The KC Stadium on Saturday. The match starts at 17:00.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
