Cape Town - Bafetimbi Gomis travels with his Swansea City team-mates to face Watford on Saturday with a personal milestone in sight.
Gomis is currently joint-top of the Premier League goal-scoring charts after netting a goal in each of his first four games for the Welsh side.
The 30-year-old striker has been in devastating form at the tip of Garry Monk's attack, with a winner against Manchester United in his last outing already on his impressive 2015/16 CV.
Two players have managed the feat of scoring in each of the first five games of the season, a feat Gomis will have on his mind as the fourth-placed Swans face winless Watford at Vicarage Road (16:00 kick-off).
Manchester United's Wayne Rooney (in the 2011/12 season) and former Arsenal forward Jose Antonio Reyes (in the 2004/05 season) will have company at the top of the most goals in consecutive games if Gomis manages to find the net.
Players to score in first four league matches*:
2014/15 - Diego Costa (Chelsea),
2013/14 - Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool) and Olivier Giroud (Arsenal)
2009/10 - Emmanuel Adebayor (Manchester City)
2006/07 - Bobby Zamora (West Ham United) and Darren Bent (Charlton Athletic)
2005/06 - Ruud van Nistlerooy (Manchester United)
2000/01 - Branko Strupar (Derby County)
