Cape Town - Edin Dzeko has pledged his future to Manchester City after singing a contract extension which will keep the forward in the blue of City for another four years.
"I'm really happy here at City -- it's a second home to me so it was an easy decision to stay for the long-term," Dzeko told the City website.
Dzeko has played his part in creating history for the blue half of Manchester. He scored 66 goals for City including the equaliser against QPR on the last day of the 2011/12 season which paved the way for Sergio Aguero to hit the injury-time championship-winning goal.
The 28-year-old joined City from Bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg for £27 million in 2011.
Dzeko will hope to take a lead role when Manchester City host Liverpool on Monday, August 25.
