Alan Pardew looks destined to be relieved of his job should he fail to overcome Hull City on Saturday, September 20.

Steve Bruce is just one of the names lined up as a potential replacement for Pardew but may convince Saturday's enemies that he is the right man to take the job should he guide Hull City to a win at St James' Park.

Newcastle are without a win this season and were humiliated by Southampton on the weekend.

Bruce has previously been in charge at arch-rivals Sunderland is the early front-runner for the Newcastle job along with ex-Manchester United boss David Moyes.

Saturday's fixture could see both Newcastle and Hull City change managers should Bruce guide Hull to a win away from home.
