London - Blackburn's hopes of a quick return to the Premier League suffered another blow as Rovers crashed to a 2-1 home defeat against local rivals Bolton on Wednesday.
Henning Berg's 10th placed team are nine points off the automatic promotion places after goals from Kevin Davies and Lee Chung-Yong fired the visitors into a two-goal lead at Ewood Park.
Davies struck after 93 seconds against his former club and South Korea midfielder Lee got the second after Chris Eagles' free-kick was pushed onto a post in the 61st minute.
Scotland striker Jordan Rhodes got one back eight minutes from full-time, but it was too late to stop Blackburn slipping to their second defeat in the space of five days.
Rovers, owned by Indian poultry firm Venky's, face another local derby on Sunday when they take on bitter rivals Burnley at Turf Moor.
