Cape Town - West Bromwich Albion forward Saido Berahino's presence at Old Trafford has sparked mass transfer speculation.

Berahino has scored 18 goals this season (in 35 appearances) for the Baggies and has been linked with a move to Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur but it was his presence in the crowd during Manchester United's sixth round FA Cup loss at home to Arsenal on Monday night which sent the rumour mill into overdrive.

England's Daily Mail link Louis van Gaal with a summer bid for Berahino while many other news agencies have also joined the speculation that being spotted watching an intriguing FA Cup tie between two of England's biggest clubs is enough to suggest that a transfer is in the making.

Berahino is sixth on the league's top scoring list with 12 goals. (See the full list here)
