Bendtner to make his move

Cape Town - After failing to secure a new deal at Arsenal, Danish striker Nicklas Bendtner will be joining a new club shortly.

According to the BBC, the now ex-Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner is expected to announce a move to a new club within the next couple of days.

The move could be to a club in England, Germany or Spain as the player currently has a number of offers.

The 26-year-old fell out of favour with Arsene Wenger and was not offered a new deal. He had been at the club for 10 years.

Bendtner was frozen out of the Arsenal first team and spent time on loan at Birmingham City, Sunderland and Juventus.

After joining the London club from Copenhagen in 2004, he made 171 appearances for the Gunners and scored 47 goals.
