Atleti ready to sell Cerci

Cape Town - Diego Simeone is ready to part ways with attacking midfielder Alessio Cerci when the the January transfer window opens.

The Express report that Alessio Cerci has been regarded as surplus to requirements for the La Liga champions.

Cerci joined Atletico from Torino at the end of the summer transfer window for a fee in the region of £13 million.

Despite only joined the ranks at Atletico in the summer, Cerci is already being linked with a move away after struggling to adapt to life in Spain.

Reports indicate that the 27-year-old player has failed to come to terms with life in Spain and will be allowed to move on in January.

Manchester United, Arsenal and Inter Milan have all been alerted to the fact that Cerci is available for transfer.

Cerci has featured just five times for Simeone's side this season.
