Cape Town - Real Madrid have accepted Arsenal's bid to sign French international striker Karim Benzema.
According to talkSPORT, Arsenal's£48 million offer for Karim Benzema has been accepted.
The English news source report that Rodney Marsh believes a Arsenal will pull off a remarkable coup by landing Benzema before the summer window slams shut.
“I had a phone call from a mate of mine, and he’s been right on many things, and he said that he believes Real Madrid have accepted a bid somewhere in the region of £48 million for Benzema from Arsenal." said Marsh.
“In the past this guy has always been right, he’s never been wrong yet, so we’ll have to wait and see.” said Marsh.
The 27-year-old French striker has been a central figure in Real Madrid's plans despite the abundance of attacking players at the club.
Benzema arrived at Los Blancos in July 2009 for an initial fee of €35 million and has gone on to earn 281 caps for Real Madrid.
Media outlets in Spain are adamant that Benzema will not be allowed to leave this summer.
