London - Arsenal says Cesc Fabregas will be out for up to three weeks with a hamstring injury.
The Spain midfielder sustained the injury in the first half of Saturday's 1-1 draw at Sunderland in the English Premier League.
Arsenal has received the results of a scan Fabregas had on Monday and says the player "will be out for two to three weeks."
Fabregas has been in good form recently, scoring against Sunderland to follow up his pair in Arsenal's 6-0 win over Braga in the Champions League last Wednesday.
He did not start in Arsenal's first two games of the season as manager Arsene Wenger slowly reintroduced the midfielder back to first-team action after his World Cup exploits.
