Arsenal chase Barca starlet

Cape Town - Arsenal are ready to move for Sergi Samper, dubbed the " new Cesc Fabregas",  as the London club monitors his situation.

Metro report that Arsenal want to bring Sergi Samper to the Emirates in January.

Reports in Spain suggest that Arsene Wenger will offer Barcelona £9.6 million for the player, who the Gunners have tried to sign in the past.

With first team opportunities limited in Spain, Wenger is hoping to highlight the cases of Hector Bellerin and Jon Toral, both of them who have made the switch from Barcalona to London in recent times.
