Cape Town - Uruguay striker Edinson Cavani wants Paris Saint-Germain to let him swap Paris for London in the January transfer window.
Metro report that Edinson Cavani will cost Arsenal £50 million but the player wants his current club to lower their demands.
The 27-year-old striker joined the French giants from Napoli in July 2013 but has failed to dislodge Zlatan Ibrahimovic as the side's number one striker and now wants to leave the club in order to seek a regular starting role.
Cavani is in good form for the French club this season where he has scored 12 goals in 22 appearances.
The move to Arsenal seems dependent on PSG's willingness to lower their valuation of the striker.
