Cape Town - AC Milan will face competition from Chelsea in the race to sign Roma forward Mattia Destro according to the player's agent.
Mattia Destro could be on his way to Stamford Bridge according to the Daily Star.
Claudio Vigorelli, the player's agent, confirmed that both Chelsea and AC Milan are interested in signing the 23-year-old forward.
"I cannot deny he is at the centre of some important situations that could develop," Vigorelli told alfredopedulla.com.
“More Milan or Chelsea? The market is unpredictable.
"These are two interested clubs”
"Jose Mourinho admires him, while Milan could make some important steps forward very soon." added Vigorelli.
Destro would reportedly cost £20 million to prise him away from Roma.
Fernando Torres' future in England is safe for now after Mourinho refused to include the misfiring striker in a player-plus-cash deal for Destro.
