Agent: Pienaar still undecided

Johannesburg - Steven Pienaar is unhappy regarding the speculation surrounding his Everton future, his agent, Ivan Modia, has revealed.

Several big-name clubs have been linked with the South Africa international as his contract at the Toffees comes to an end in June.

However, Modia has moved quickly to quash the talk, insisting that no decision has been made as of yet and that all involved are growing tired of the rumours.

"The player has not made his mind up," Modia told Sky Sports.

"The player just wants to concentrate on his football, I cannot make that any more clear.

"It gets to the point now, where if I responded to every piece of speculation about Steven Pienaar, I would not be able to do anything else, it would be a full-time job doing that.

"I want to make it clear that nothing has been decided, and Steven is committed and dedicated to the Everton cause, and I think that is evident with some the fantastic performances he has been producing of.

"This is the last time I will be commenting on such speculation, when the time is appropriate will make an announcement."

Come to Liverpool my man, you're most welcome to take up a place in the middle of the park

Not a chance! That would be a downward move. David Moyes is a legend, and there is a great spirit at Everton that Liverpool just don't have. Unless you're offered a regular spot with one of the big Uefa teams (which is unlikely), stay with the Toffees - they'll come right in the next seaon. Saha just needs to find his touch, and Arteta needs to get back to his best, then Everton's midfield is up there with the best.

@ Justin umm I do not think Pienaar fancys playing in the championship next year...The other day I saw a few Everton players outside my house playing football with a hedgehog, I was going to call the SPCA but the hedgehog then went 1 - 0 up ..

I think with his style of soccer he will make a great contribution to arsenal.

Only problem with Pienaar is that he does not play well in a 2 striker formation. I am an EVERTON man, but I am not sure anymore about Pienaar anymore. We need to score goals and we don't seem to be doing it with one striker.

So, Pienaar shines in an average team and all of a sudden he is a star. He's good, but Everton is the best club for him.

Well what I’ve seen of him playing for Bafana in the world cup and some other games that I’ve watched him played in, he seems to not play well for them and they are a useless team. So I guess Everton is the best club for him.

If Steven Pienaar wants to make a name for himself amongst the legends of world football, he would make a move to a bigger club. Stop with the sentiment and get it done already. Perhaps Pienaar is reluctant to make the move because he knows what we football purists have always known: HE IS NOT AS GOOD AS EVERYONE MAKES HIM OUT TO BE!

Jealousy is a terrible thing. If he was Caucasian or of African race you guys would not be talking this crap. Go fly a kite. He is pomping some lovely caucasian and african beauties and you guys can't stand it!
