Cape Town - Stoke City's experienced midfielder Charlie Adam admits he would "love the experience" of playing overseas.
There is interest from Turkey and Spain in Adam's services, according to the Stoke Sentinel.
Adam has found the going to tough at Stoke this season with limited first team opportunities and the former Liverpool player has admitted he would go overseas to further his career
"I would love the experience of playing abroad because it's certainly something different. Hopefully, more British players will go and do it."
Adam has been linked with a move to La Liga side Real Sociedad where former Everton and Manchester United manager has taken over as head coach.
The 29-year-old midfielder acknowledged the rumour before adding: "But there's nothing happening at the moment and I am happy to be here at Stoke."
Adam broke through as a player for Blackpool in the 2010/11 season and joined Liverpool in 2011 in a £6.75 million move.
The Scotland international failed to solidify his place in the Reds lineup and move to Stoke City in Aaugust 2012 for a fee of £4 million.
