Johannesburg - Jomo Cosmos were crowned National First Division Inland champions on the weekend after beating Black Leopards 1-0 at Makhulong Stadium in Tembisa.
Siya Nhlapo's 42nd minute effort proved decisive, leaving Cosmos on 41 points at the summit - eight points ahead of the University of Pretoria with just two games remaining.
However, Ezenkosi boss Jomo Sono is reserving his celebrations until after the play-offs where they will contest for a spot in the Premiership.
Coastal Stream leaders Bay United, who recently drew with African Warriors, have also booked their place in the promotional dog-fight.
"Yes our players and supporters celebrated after we defeated Leopards, but the real celebration will be after the playoff," Sono told his club's official website.
"For now we have one foot in the Absa Premiership, we must get the other foot inside before we can celebrate.
"What we have achieved so far was through hard work from both the players and the technical team. I want to thank them for that.
"We have signed quality players who were equal to the task. Now we have to double our efforts to ensure that we return to the elite league."
Regarding the game, he added: "That was our most exciting match of the season despite the fact that we were playing on a slippery pitch. Credit should go to Leopards' goalkeeper who denied us numerous scoring opportunities."
