Rio de Janeiro - Brazil defender David Luiz has broken his nose during his country's 2-0 victory over Mexico at the Confederations Cup.

Luiz said on Chelsea's website he accidentally clashed with teammate Thiago Silva just before half time in Wednesday's game.
