Bafana's Khenyeza a no show

Ajax Cape Town striker Mabhudi Khenyeza has been withdrawn from the provisional Bafana Bafana squad for the 2009 Fifa Confederations Cup.

Coach Joel Santana took this decision after Khenyeza failed to report for camp with all the local-based players on Wednesday.

Coach Santana had given him an ultimatum of 11:00 on Thursday morning, however he failed to pitch.

Khenyeza has since been replaced with Orlando Pirates’ forward Thulasizwe Mbuyane. Mbuyane is expected in camp on Thursday afternoon.
