Chiefs v Ajax CT rescheduled

Johannesburg - The Premiership encounter between Kaizer Chiefs and Ajax Cape Town scheduled for this week has been postponed, the PSL announced on Sunday.

Amakhosi were set to host the Urban Warriors in the Premiership on Wednesday, but the Cape Town outfit will instead face AmaZulu on Tuesday after this weekend's Nedbank Cup last-32 tie between Usuthu and Ajax was abandoned due to a waterlogged pitch.

The Capetonians were leading AmaZulu 2-1 with a little under 15 minutes to go in Durban on Sunday before the referee ruled the pitch unplayable.

Usuthu's scheduled league clash with Jomo Cosmos on Wednesday has also been postponed, with a revised date for both matches expected later this week.
