Chiefs' Motaung in mourning

Johannesburg - Kaizer Chiefs boss Kaizer Motaung is mourning the death of his first-born son, Thabo, died this week after a long illness, according to a report on the Sowetan website.

Thabo Motaung's younger brother and Chiefs general manager Bobby Motaung said the family was going through a difficult time.

"Thabo was suffering from meningitis and he had been in hospital for a long time," Bobby said.

Thabo, 43, will be buried on Saturday.

The service will be held at the University of Johannesburg's Soweto Campus in Pimville from 08:00.
