Vogt: Hoffenheim can score two at Anfield

Cape Town - Hoffenheim captain Kevin Vogt is confident his team can overturn the 2-1 deficit against Liverpool in the second leg of their Champions League play-off.

The Bundesliga outfit lost the first leg at home after Trent Alexander-Arnold and Havard Nordtveit (with an own goal) scored for the Reds at Wirsol Rhein-Neckar-Arena last Tuesday.

However, Vogt believes Hoffenheim's 1-0 victory in their Bundesliga opener against Werder Bremen gives them the confidence to beat Jurgen Klopp's side at Anfield.

"We put in good performances against Bremen and against Liverpool in the first leg. I have absolutely no doubt that we can score two goals at Anfield," Vogt said, according to the official Bundesliga website.

"We'll throw ourselves into the game and absolutely give it our all, because we still have a chance to reach the group stage."

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
