Cape Town - Leicester City captain Wes Morgan says he has been impressed with the performances of new Foxes striker Islam Slimani.
Slimani joined the English Premier League champions on transfer deadline day from Sporting Lisbon for a club record fee of £28m.
After scoring three goals in his first three games for the Foxes, including the solitary goal in their historic win over FC Porto on Tuesday evening, Morgan has praised his side and the Algerian's immediate impact.
"We know we've got to be resilient, especially at home," he told BT Sport.
"We had to dig in at the end there so it's pleasing to get three points. Islam Slimani is a handful and he works hard for his goals so he deserves a lot of credit. Pleased for him tonight."
The 28-year-old scored 31 goals in 44 games for Sporting last season.
