Luis Enrique is looking forward to "an attractive game" against "a top quality PSG" side in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Paris Saint Germain host the five-time tournament winners at the Parc des Princes in the first leg of their last 16 match.
Both sides have been impressive in their European encounters thus far, while they both occupy second spot in their domestic leagues.
Ahead of this game, Barca boss Enrique told the press: "We expect a tough tie against a daring PSG side who will put us under pressure in front of their own fans. It will be an attractive game between two ambitious sides."
The last time these two sides faced each other, Barca ran out 2-0 winners, at the Nou Camp, while they won 3-1 in their last appearance at the Parc des Princes.
Enrique added: "I have seen a top quality PSG side over the last few months and I expect the same tomorrow with a 4-3-3 in attack and 4-1-4-1 in defence.
"We have good memories of this ground because we have put in some good performances here. However, we have never had it easy against, the opposite. We are up against an opponent whose coach knows us really well.”
The former Celta and Roma boss also heaped praise on PSG boss Unai Emery, when he said: "He is one of the best coaches in Spanish football and one of the most sought after in Europe. He is a coach who studies his opponents well, has his own style and his own philosophy.”
PSG captain Thiago Silva has been ruled out of the clash through injury that comes as a significant blow to the French side.
Kick off is at 21:45.
