Rome - Juventus are hopeful their French international midfielder Paul Pogba will be able to return from injury in time for the second leg of their Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid.

"The tests are good, we are optimistic about his recovery and let's hope he will be able to return for the second leg against Real," Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri told Sky Sports on Friday.

Allegri's comments came after a statement released by Juventus on Thursday indicated that Pogba "will undergo a personalised recovery regime before potentially returning to full training with the group on Wednesday."
