Clubs fined for crowd trouble

Nyon - Galatasaray, FC Basel, Feyenoord and Standard Liege have been fined by UEFA for crowd misbehavior during games in the Champions League and the Europa League.

Turkish team Galatasaray was fined €50 000 after its fans set off or threw fireworks and missiles during a Champions League match at Arsenal on October 1.

Basel was fined €40 000 after supporters of the Swiss team threw objects onto the field during a Champions League match against Liverpool on the same night.

Feyenoord was fined €15 000 and Standard €17 000 for crowd disturbances, including both sets of fans setting off fireworks, during their Europa League match on October 2.

The fines were announced on Monday.
