Madrid - The winner of Saturday's UEFA Champions League final will have earned over €30 million alone in revenues from the tournament, according to a study by Spanish sports consultancy Prime Time Sport.

The winner of the final will earn €9 million and the runner-up €5.2 million.

Both finalists, Italian Serie A club Inter Milan and German Bundesliga side Bayern Munich, will also receive an allocation of the tournament’s commercial revenues and the broadcasting rights money is distributed according to the value of the TV market in the each club’s country.

Inter and Bayern have already made €20.4 million each, excluding their share of UEFA’s media and commercial pool.

Despite losing the final to Spanish La Liga side Barcelona, English Premiership club Manchester United were the highest earners last season, with €38.3 million, due to the size of the UK TV market.
