Johannesburg - Former Bafana Bafana soccer star Bryce Moon was sitting in the driver's seat of the car that struck Mavis Ncube in Sandhurst, the Randburg Magistrate's Court heard on Monday.
"There was one man sitting in the car and the other two were outside the car," said Ncube's employer, Nancy Turner.
State prosecutor Nadine Nel asked Turner who the man was and if she could identify him. Turner pointed at Moon and said he was the one.
Ncube and a colleague were walking to Turner's guesthouse where they worked when the former Bafana Bafana star's car allegedly hit Ncube in 2010.
Ncube was taken to Morningside clinic where she died from her injuries.
Turner said Ncube's colleague called her to say that Ncube had been hit by a car.
"When I arrived at the scene, which was a five-minute drive from our place, she [the colleague] couldn't even speak.
Turner said Ncube was on her back and was not conscious.
She said the colleague and herself started to pray for Ncube who was then foaming at the mouth and shaking.
"Her upper body was exposed and I took off my jacket and covered her up."
Turner said she was so angry that she walked over to the car that was involved in the accident.
"I was so angry I swore at him [Moon]. I am not a person who swears but on that day, I did."
She said she was then told by one of the men outside the car to leave Moon alone.
The Mercedez-Benz Coupe which Moon was driving was wedged between a wall and a tree.
Moon faces a charge of murder.
