London - David Beckham's income from personal sponsorship deals slumped by 10 percent in the year he became England's most capped outfield player.
Newly released figures show that the Los Angeles Galaxy player received 9.03m pounds ($14.6m) in 2009 from his company Footwork Productions, which handles the revenue from endorsements from companies including Adidas.
In 2008, Beckham received 9.97m pounds.
Turnover in 2009 also dropped, to 11.4m pounds from 12.1m pounds.
A separate company, Brand Beckham, receives a share of the merchandising revenue he generates for the Galaxy as well as joint endorsements with his wife, Victoria.
Beckham broke the record for the number of England appearances by an outfield player in March 2009.
