Barca deny talks with Fabregas

Barcelona - Barcelona denies it is negotiating with, or has reached any agreement to sign, Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas.

The Spanish champion says it felt the need to issue the denial on their website because of the "exceptional repercussions" generated by recent reports coming out of Spain. The Spanish media has been reporting that the club has reached an agreement to sign the midfielder.

Fabregas, a regular at Arsenal since the age of 16, came up through Barcelona's youth academy.
