Venue announced for Bafana's final AFCON qualifier

Cape Town - The Mbombela Stadium will host Bafana Bafana's final Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Mauritania next month.

According to Soweto Live, CAF confirmed that the encounter will be played on Friday, September 2 in Nelspruit.

Kick-off is will be at 19:00.

Bafana Bafana will not be participating in the 2017 AFCON edition after suffering three draws and a defeat.

Shakes Mashaba's charges are placed third in their Group M with six points while Mauritania have already notched up seven points and have a chance of qualification.

Cameroon topped the group with 11 points and will go to the Gabon showpiece with not having to win their final group match against Gambia.

Meanwhile, Bafana Bafana are also scheduled to play Egypt in an international friend on September 6 at the Orlando Stadium.
