SAFA postpone Bafana coach announcement

Cape Town - The South Africa Football Association (SAFA) has postponed the unveiling of the new Bafana Bafana head coach until next week.

Sport24 reported that Carlos Queiroz was expected to be announced by SAFA as the new Bafana Bafana head coach on Friday morning.

However, the official Bafana Bafana Twitter account revealed that the announcement will be made "next week" as they need the coach to be present when the unveiling happens.

"The naming of new Bafana Bafana coach has been postponed to next week as we need the coach available at the Press Conference!," read the tweet.
