Mashaba's DC hearing will give verdict next week

Cape Town - Suspended Bafana Bafana coach Shakes Mashaba will learn his fate next week as his disciplinary hearing is in its second day.

According to the SowetoLIVE, the verdict will be known either by Friday or "early next week" as the hearing goes through the necessary process.

Mashaba is facing allegations for publicly insulting South African Football Association (SAFA) president, Danny Jordaan, after Bafana Bafana's victory over Senegal last month.

The hearing began on Monday (December 5) and Mashaba along with his legal team were able to cross examine three witnesses of the incident.

The witnesses are said to be SAFA employers as well.

Reports suggest that Mashaba has offered to resign with a payout but the deal was rejected by SAFA.

Mashaba now faces misconduct and insubordination if found guilty and will be dismissed without any compensation.
