Manyama, Singh get Bafana call-up

Cape Town - Despite not having a head coach, a 25-man squad announcement has been made by Bafana Bafana assistant coach Owen da Gama.

Without a replacement for Shakes Mashaba, da Gama took over selection duties while the South Africa Football Association continue their search for a new mentor. 

South Africa will play a friendly match against Guinea-Bissau on March 25 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban. The senior national side will then play Angola in a friendly on March 28 at a venue yet to be decided.

Meanwhile, the squad will gather on March 19 in Johannesburg before traveling to Durban the next day.

Before their clash against Guinea-Bissau, Bafana Bafana will play two training matches against Golden Arrows and Thanda Royal Zulu on March 22.

BAFANA BAFANA SQUAD:

Goalkeepers: Itumeleng Khune, Darren Keet and Shu-aib Walters.

Defenders: Rama Mphahlele, Rivaldo Coetzee, Thulani Hlatshwayo, Eric Mathoho, Lorenzo Gordinho, Diamond Thopola, Tebogo Langerman.

Midfielders: Hlompho Kekana, Thabo Mnyamane, Keagan Dolly, Andile Jali, Kamohelo Mokotjo, Tiyani Mabunda, Dean Furman, Themba Zwane and Thulani Serero.

Forwards: Percy Tau, Lebohang Manyama, Phakamani Mahlambi, Lars Weldwijk, Kermit Erasmus, Luther Singh.
