Bafana up in latest FIFA rankings

Cape Town - Bafana Bafana have moved up one place in the latest world FIFA rankings.

Shakes Mashaba's side have also made a significant jump in the CAF rankings, moving up two places to 13th.

In June, South Africa played their penultimate 2017 AFCON qualifier against Gambia winning 4-0.

Weeks later Bafana Bafana participated in the COSAFA Cup and ended up eventual winners of the tournament held in Namibia. Bafana edged a hard-working Botswana side 3-2 in the final.
