Cape Town - Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Reneilwe
Letsholonyane believes South Africa’s tough Africa Cup of Nations group
will only make the team stronger.
Bafana's worst fears were realised on Wednesday night as they were drawn alongside African powerhouses Ghana, Senegal and Algeria in Group C, fittingly dubbed the 'Group of Death', for next year’s Equatorial Guinea showpiece.
However, 'Yeye' believes that if Shake’s Mashaba's men want to conquer the continent, they have to prove themselves against the best.
"It is a tough group and really a challenge for us," he told Football411.
"But I always believed that for us to be the best in the continent we must compete against the best and this group has put us against what we feared.
"But I am up for the test and I believe that we have what it takes."
