Speaking on his official website, that Bafana’s confidence has risen with each game following SA’s 2-0 win over Ivory Coast.

“Looking ahead, the national team has a job to do in next year’s AFCON,” said Modise

“They will certainly have a strong side that will compete with the best teams in Africa.

“With the way they have been playing success is imminent.

“I think that the confidence of the team is rising with each and every game. I say once again, the best is yet to come.”

Modise also believes that Mashaba is turning Bafana into a team that everyone wants to play for.

“Congratulations to coach Shakes Mashaba for being named the coach of the year,” said Modise as Mashaba was crowned at the South African Sports Awards.

“He has done a great job and continues to do so. He is turning the side into a team that all the players want to be part of.”
