Cape Town - Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates winger Tlou Segolela may be off to England after his agent revealed an English club is interested in his services.
The 25-year-old speedster was the hero on Sunday when he scored both Bafana Bafana's goals in their 2-0 victory over Lesotho in Maseru.
And despite being linked with PSL champions Kaizer Chiefs, his agent Tim Sukazi revealed to the Soccer Laduma website that Segolela's first choice is to move abroad, with an English Championship side having already offered him a trial.
Sukazi said Pirates had received an invitation from an unnamed Championship outfit, signed by the club’s head coach, requesting that Segolela spend some time with them during the off-season.
One stumbling block for the winger could be that, in order to obtain a work permit in the UK, he needs to have played in 75% of his nation’s international games in the past two years, something Segolela hasn’t done.
However, should Segolela continue his fine form, he is sure to remain in Bafana coach Gordon Igesund's plans going forward.
