SAFA released a statement on Wednesday confirming the postponement of the squad to take on Sudan and Nigeria in the last two CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2015 Qualifiers.
The Bafana Bafana squad announcement was scheduled for Thursday but has been "called off until further notice".
“The most immediate thing we can do in honour of Senzo is to play our AFCON qualifier in Nelspruit in the memory of Senzo Meyiwa,” said SAFA's CEO Dennis Mumble at a press conference on Monday.
South Africa are due to tackle Sudan at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit on November 15 and then travel to Nigeria to face the Super Eagles at the Uyo International Stadium on November 19.
A win against Sudan will guarantee Bafana Bafana a place at AFCON 2015. South Africa won the first leg in Sudan 3-0.
Bafana Bafana top Group A with eight points from four games, Congo are second on seven points, Nigeria have four points with Sudan struggling on three points.
