Johannesburg - Former presidents Thabo Mbeki, Kgalema Motlanthe and FW de Klerk were in attendance as the SA Football Association (SAFA) began its 24th annual general congress in Johannesburg on Saturday morning.
The statesmen would be honoured for their role in uplifting the game of football in the country over the last 20 years.
Approximately 200 SAFA delegates, from all regions of the country, are set to be addressed by the soccer body's president, Danny Jordaan.
He is expected to talk about considerable profits made by the association over the last financial year.
