SAFA announce Amaglug-glug squad

Cape Town - The South African Football Association released the list of players that have been called up to the under-23 national team camp in preparation for their game against Zimbabwe.

Amaglug-glug take on the Zimbabwean under-23 side at the Rufaro Stadium in Harare on July 19 in their first-leg tie as they begin qualification for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

If Amaglug-glug beat Zimbabwe they will go through to the Eight Nations tournament in Senegal that starts at the end of November where the Olympic qualification spots will be sorted out.

SA Men’s Under-23 National Team:

Goalkeepers: Steven Hoffman (Vasco Da Gama FC), Ricardo Goss (Golden Arrows), Nkosingiphile Gumede (Golden Arrows)

Defenders: Tshepo Rikhotso (Bloemfontein Celtic), Kwanda Mngonyama (Maritzburg United), Modisha Modjeka (Mamelodi Sundowns), Thabo Makhele (Witbank Spurs), Tebogo Moerane (Bidvest Wits), Zitha Macheke (Kaizer Chiefs), Siyabonga Dube (Golden Arrows), Lukhele Mdluli (Bidvest Wits)

Midfielders: Ayabulela Magqwaka (Ajax Cape Town), Phumlani Ntshangase (Bidvest Wits), Abbubaker Mobara (Ajax Cape Town), Keagan Dolly (Mamelodi Sundowns), Riyaad Norodien (Ajax Cape Town), Thapelo Morena (Bloemfontein Celtic), Abednigo Mosiathlaga ( Bidvest Wits)
