SABC to broadcast SA v Egypt

Johannesburg - The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) confirmed on Saturday it would broadcast live the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying clash between Bafana Bafana and hosts Egypt on Sunday night.

Kick off is at 8.30pm South African time.

SABC and Sport 5, the agent appointed to sell broadcasting rights on behalf of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), sealed a deal for the SABC to broadcast the match, "in the interest of the South African public and the development of football on the African continent," according to a statement issued by the South African broadcasters on Saturday, after the initial asking price had been too high.

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
