SA under-17 eager to make SWC impression

Cape Town - The South African Under-17 national team were drawn against Costa Rica, North Korea and Russia in Group E of the Under-17 World Cup.

Amajimbos will start their campaign against Costa Rica in the first game, after qualifying for the World Cup in the CAF Under-17 Championships but lost to 2-0 to Mali in the final of the tournament.

Coach Molefi Ntseki’s, Amajimbos are eager to make an impression in South America and strive to make South Africa proud when they face the world.

The tournament will include 24 teams which will start on October 17 and finish through on November 8.
