SA U-17 squad named

Cape Town - The South African Under-17 coach Molefi Ntseki has chosen a squad of 25 players of which 21 will be selected to travel to the upcoming FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Chile.

AmaZulu’s official website has announced the news with two of the club’s players Luyanda Gumede and Dylan Stoffels having been called up to Under-17 preliminary squad.

“We are not going to Chile to add numbers, we are going there to play competitive football and ensure that this record we have broken by qualifying for the world cup does not go unnoticed,” Ntseki said.

“We are comfortable with the draw and the group we are seeded in and will go out there and ensure that we give it our all.”

Amajimbos are in Group E alongside Russia, Korea DPR and Costa Rica, and the matches are scheduled to be staged in the City of Concepcion, Chile.
