President JZ backs Bafana

Johannebsurg - Bafana Bafana will make South Africa proud by beating Sierra Leone on their home turf in Freetown, says president Jacob Zuma.

In a message to the team as it travelled north for the second leg of the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, he said the match might not be easy, as it was an away game.

"But we trust that you will show your mettle even in unfamiliar territory," he said.

"We are confident that just as you won in your last game against the same team in Mbombela, you will continue to make us proud by scoring another victory in Sierra Leone."
