Johannesburg - Bafana Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane says his team selection for the international friendly against Ghana is based on his policy of continuity with the 2014 vision in mind.

He said that, for this reason, he selected players who are loyal and want to play for South Africa. “I hope we have the right players in the team. And with the technical team we have, we don't expect any problems. It is not that we had problems in the past,” said the Bafana coach.

He added that the technical team want to phase some of the youngsters into the squad which will happen in due time, “ We want to use the young players but as of now they are either with the under-23 or under-20 team. We also want to keep some of the players we had in the World Cup so that we have continuity.”

“We want to qualify for the World Cup 2014 as well as the Afcon for 2012 and 2014,” Mosimane concluded.

The friendly against Ghana takes place on Wednesday the 11th of August at Soccer City.
