Johannesburg - Bafana Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane has said that the national technical team will not allow players who show signs of ill-discipline at their clubs to be part of the South African national team.
Speaking at a press conference at SAFA House, Mosimane said he will select players who are committed and active in their teams.
"I support the PSL and the teams from where we select these players. If players don't train with their teams they don't have a place in the national team.
"They should not think by not training and playing at their clubs they will just walk into the Bafana Bafana squad. We want disciplined players for the team and that is why some players have been left out," Mosimane said.
Although Mosimane did not mention any names, two Bafana Bafana regulars Katlego Mphela and Teko Modise have both recently gone AWOL from their respective clubs, with Modise eventually securing a transfer.
